Latest Releases
Welcome to the latest Bramble CFD software updates.
Here, you’ll find all the newest features, improvements, and integrations, from advanced CFD tools to fresh system enhancements and more. To make sure everything loads correctly, we recommend doing a quick hard refresh by pressing CTRL+R.
Radiator Improvements (OpenFOAM)
You no longer need to separate and define the Up and Down faces of radiators, Bramble can now do this for you automatically!
Mind Map Improvements
You can now add multiple tables of results to a Node Report, and can choose to show data from any run in the selected Project.

Smart Filters
We’ve improved your results table with new filters, allowing you to quickly sort through your data based on tags or …

Focused Mass Flow Plane
For 1806F workflows, define mass flow positive direction based on whether flow is moving into or away from a point.
OpenFOAM CHT (Fluids Only)
We have now integrated an OpenFOAM Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) solver within bramble. This enables bramble…

Aeroacoustics Simulations
One of the major CFD software updates for bramble users is the ability to run aeroacoustics simulations, made possible by the new Zenotech integration.
Benefits of running aeroacoutic CFD include:
- Faster aeroacoustic simulations (run simulations in 4 hrs)
- Run internal and external acoustics
- Cost effective
- Test without making prototypes
OpenFOAM CHT (Fluids Only)
We have now integrated an OpenFOAM Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) solver within bramble. This enables bramble users to run thermal simulations for fluids.

Radiator Improvements (OpenFOAM)
You no longer need to separate and define the Up and Down faces of radiators, Bramble can now do this for you automatically!
Select ‘Auto’ in the Template Case ‘Up/Down’ section to enable automatic splitting of the radiator faces, or ‘Manual’ to continue to define them manually.
Focused Mass Flow Plane
For 1806F workflows, define mass flow positive direction based on whether flow is moving into or away from a point.
Results Table Improvement
You can now choose to hide any of the default columns (such as comments) on the ‘Results’ page by toggling them in the ‘Table/column options’ window.
Mind Map Improvements
You can now add multiple tables of results to a Node Report, and can choose to show data from any run in the selected Project.
Morphing Feature
A new CFD feature is that now you can modify your 3D model’s shape directly within bramble – no exporting or importing required.
This enhanced feature allows you to transform your model by stretching, pulling, resizing, and rotating it all in one place, streamlining your workflow and saving valuable time.
Please contact us at info@bramblecfd.com to have this feature added to your account at no additional cost.
Smart Filters
We’ve improved your results table with new filters, allowing you to quickly sort through your data based on tags or specific parameters such as yaw, velocity, roll, steer, or ride height. For added convenience, you can now save your preferred filter configurations for future use, making data analysis faster and more efficient than ever.
View Processed Geometry in 3D
You can now view the updated geometry, after ride height adjustments or feature extraction, in a 3D viewer before running the simulation. This preview shows a single, unified model with all your geometry changes applied.
To access this feature, go to the ‘Runs’ section in the Bramble app, select your run, then open the ‘Run Checks’ tab and click the ‘View Processed Geometry’ button.
Note: This option is only available for runs created from the beginning of April onward.
Delta Post-Processing Workflow
bramble will now automatically re-run delta post-processing if a simulation finishes before its baseline. Eliminating the need for users to manually intervene once the base line has completed.
