Supporting the Next Phase of Aerodynamic Innovation
We’re proud to be partnering with White Motorcycle Concepts (WMC), a company that’s challenging conventional thinking around vehicle aerodynamics.
Since introducing its innovative duct concept, WMC has demonstrated how clever aerodynamic design can unlock significant improvements in efficiency and performance. Their patented V-Duct technology has attracted attention across the automotive and motorcycle industries by addressing one of the biggest challenges in vehicle design: reducing drag without compromising practicality.
As WMC continues to develop and refine the technology, we’re pleased to be supporting the next phase of that journey.
Bringing High-Fidelity CFD Software into the Development Process
At Bramble, our focus is on making advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software more accessible and efficient for engineering teams. By integrating our high-fidelity CFD software into WMC’s aerodynamic development workflow, we’re helping their engineers gain deeper insight into complex airflow behaviour and make design decisions faster.
This includes analysing internal airflow structures, refining duct geometries, evaluating cooling performance and identifying opportunities to reduce aerodynamic drag, all before physical testing begins.
Accelerating Development Through Simulation
Aerodynamic development is often a balance between performance, efficiency and packaging constraints. As vehicle architectures become more complex, understanding airflow through and around a vehicle becomes increasingly important.
By combining WMC’s innovative engineering approach with Bramble’s CFD software, we’re helping to streamline aerodynamic design and validation process through simulation-led engineering.
The result is faster iteration, better-informed design decisions and greater confidence in performance outcomes before hardware reaches the test stage.
Building on a Strong Aerodynamic Heritage
This partnership also builds on the wider aerodynamic expertise available within the TotalSim Group.
Our colleagues at TotalSim have been involved with WMC’s aerodynamic development since the early stages of the duct concept, helping evaluate the technology and providing advanced CFD support. Through the group, WMC also has access to world-class aerodynamic testing facilities, including Catesby Tunnel, the world’s longest automotive testing tunnel.
Together, this creates a powerful combination of CFD simulation, testing and engineering expertise that helps accelerate technology development and validation.
Looking Ahead
The aerodynamic tools and methodologies being used through this partnership are already supporting a range of OEM development programmes where aerodynamic efficiency, thermal management and packaging optimisation are becoming increasingly important performance differentiators.
We’re also excited to be supporting WMC’s latest internal engineering programme, which represents another significant step forward in the evolution of their technology.
We’ll be sharing more details when the project is officially unveiled later this year.
For now, we’re looking forward to working alongside the WMC team and helping bring the next generation of aerodynamic innovation to life.
“I remember first seeing the duct concept back in 2019 and immediately recognising the potential it had to fundamentally rethink motorcycle aerodynamics. Since then, it’s been exciting to see the idea evolve into a robust engineering platform. The work White Motorcycle Concepts is doing to integrate advanced CFD and aerodynamic thinking into real-world vehicle performance is genuinely innovative and we’re proud to support that development journey.”
“White Motorcycle Concepts are tackling some genuinely challenging aerodynamic problems, particularly around internal airflow management and duct integration. Our collaboration allows us to apply high-fidelity CFD tools to explore complex flow structures and rapidly iterate design solutions. It’s an exciting engineering partnership and we’re looking forward to supporting the continued evolution of their aerodynamic technology.”
“This partnership reinforces our commitment to applying advanced simulation technologies, rigorous engineering validation and performance-driven design to deliver measurable gains for both our partners and our own product development initiatives.”
