bramble’s development team has been busy crafting a frontend upgrade – a refreshed experience, keeping everything you already know and love, but making it smoother, smarter, and even easier to use.  The new UI is about to go into beta testing, ready for release later this year, so we thought it would be a great opportunity to give you a sneak peak!

A modern framework for a modern platform

Our frontend has served us well for years, but web technology never stands still. So, we’ve rebuilt the interface using the latest UI framework, ensuring bramble feels as modern under the hood as it does in the browser.

You’ll notice a cleaner look, clearer icons, and more helpful tooltips. We’ve also reorganised a few menus to make navigation more intuitive, for example, the Postpro Settings menu now lives in the sidebar, making it instantly accessible and clearly marked as an account-wide feature.

From inline to form-based inputs

One of the most noticeable changes is our shift from inline editing to form-based inputs. In the template case editor, clicking an item now opens a dedicated form instead of an editable table. This means:

  • No more sideways scrolling for settings-heavy entries

  • An easier way to add new options in the future

Bigger, better modals

Some of our pop-up windows (“modals”) are now larger and easier to work with. The Map Editor, for instance, has had its layout tidied up, with tools and settings neatly aligned – and it now expands to fill your screen for maximum clarity

A smarter Results view

The frontend upgrade includes a major revamp of the Results view. We’ve:

  • Reorganised buttons so frequently used tools are front and centre

  • Moved rarely used options into submenus

  • Introduced a new table component for smoother scrolling, column control, and auto-loading rows

Pinned results tables

You can now pin your favourite saved table settings as quick-access buttons above the results list. Create different tables for comments and analysis, headline forces, or component breakdowns – then switch between them instantly to tell the full story of your simulations.

Dark Mode arrives

By popular demand, and beloved by developers everywhere, bramble now supports Dark Mode. Whether you want a fresh look or a screen-friendly late-night working style, it’s just a click away.
